Cordless drills use rechargeable batteries for operation. These drills use AC adapters for charging their batteries which are available in 100-110v and 220-240v also. These are available in different torque ranges 3.6 N/m, 4.6 N/m, 20 N/m etc. The Cordless drills are very helpful as these are used for Screw driving applications and perform  drilling operations perfectly. It can be used anywhere you do not have to near electric switch board. There are so many very nice companies which are manufacturing very great and new technology power tools but i love these 6 companies very much Milwaukee, DeWalt, Bosch, Black & Decker, Makita and Ingco.
