Circular saw is most common power tool used today. It has appropriate
blade for cutting woods, masonry, steel and tiles. Circular saw make quick,
straight cut along the board’s length or across the cut. It can also be used
for cutting pieces at an angle. Here are some standard components of circular
saw which include:
- A foot Plate that steadies the saw against the work piece.
- A bevel adjustment that enables the saw for making angle cuts.
- A depth adjustment that enables the saw for making cuts at different thicknesses.
- A blade guard it covers the saw when not in use and provides safety to the person.
Circular saws are available in market according to blade size diameters. 5-1/2 to 7-1/4 inches are very common. Other sizes are also available according to needs.
